I work by day rate. Ever hired a copywriter this way?
Allow me to EXPLAIN THE ease + JOY YOU’RE IN FOR…
A day rate means you’re buying a chunk of my time, not necessarily a finished product. It allows us to CO-CREATE something beautiful — and because I do all the work on the day you book, it also means you don’t have to wait to receive what we magiced up together. This is how you get 15 years of journalistic, coaching and copywriting skills for your business without having to pay a 6-figure salary.

Here’s how our copy day plays out

We meet up on Zoom in the morning, and I use all my best questions from when I used to interview celebs like Stella McCartney and Caitlin Moran. Who are your clients? What were you like as a teenager? Tell me a secret.

Then I pour myself a giant pot of tea (aka: creativity juice) and get to work on your words.

At the end of the day, I deliver whatever was completed.

That’s it.

Seriously, that’s it. There are no edits included with day rates. Most of my clients don’t need them anyway. You simply take whatever was written and sprinkle your own magic into it, if you feel like it needs it. Or you can send it over to your designer to start working their magic into it.
So how much copy can I magic up in a single day? Well darling, when you’ve turned around a 10-page feature in 3 days for a glossy magazine, turns out: quite a lot.
HERE’S A SOLID ESTIMATION:
You need me to edit a sales page you’ve already written?
That’s one day.
You need me to write your website?
That’s probably two days (maybe three).
You need me to write a solid sales page for your signature offer?
That’s two days.
You need me to write a short nurture email sequence?
That’s one day.
You need me to write a launch email sequence?
That’s approximately two days.

You get the picture. One day = some copy. Two days = a whole lot more copy.
“So tell me your rates already!” you’re screaming. Ok, ok, calm down.
One day is £1000. You PROBABLY need more than one day, but I could be wrong.
